Within walking distance of the Brucemore, this stately stucco home is located in the desirable Vernon Heights neighborhood. All the charm of a historic home but updated and move-in ready. White trim, beautiful floors, fresh paint, a spacious kitchen, gas fireplace and a private backyard a few of the many features this lovely home has to offer. Let's take a look inside!

What a cozy entry room! A plush rug beneath a sectional are the perfect additions to this room. Start a fire and you're ready to take on the impending Iowa winter!

I love this fireplace!

A quick peak at the entryway shows a better view of the floor plan. Just off the entry room is the dining room. Let's take a closer look!

The light fixture makes such a great statement in this space. Would you add a large buffet beneath the serving hatch/kitchen pass-through or would you take on a big renovation and remove this wall entirely to open up the floor plan?

I'm going to do my best to showcase this kitchen in its entirety, but you have to see it in person to truly appreciate how large it is! There's even a fireplace!

The beautiful fireplace is the perfect backdrop to the kitchen. Since there is so much cabinet space, I would remove the portion of the counter that is jutting out and turn this area into a seating area- either a couple of comfy chairs or adding a kitchen table for informal eating.

Here is the opposite end of the kitchen - I'm telling you, this is a must see! So many opportunities to make this large space your own. This area could also be simplified by taking away the counters by the window. Maybe THIS is where you could add a kitchen table. You can see there is some bar-height seating attached to the counter on the left.

With the amount of space this kitchen has, I would definitely add an Island to bring it all together. You can't go wrong!

This bedroom features a gorgeous attached bath! I don't typically spend a lot of time showcasing a bathroom, but today we are!

You walk into this great closet area first.

... and then you see this!

This was done so well! the dark wood and gray accents perfectly compliment the stark white walls and tile. You can see the great shelves above the bath tub in the reflection of the mirror.

Subway tile lines the modern walk-in shower. Who knew this large space would lie just beyond the doorway!

The large basement is also home to the laundry room and second full kitchen. This would be a great spot to carpet, or carry on with the flooring found throughout the rest of the home along with a nice, large area rug. Just a few minor updates would immediately transform the space down here!

The attic is even a statement room! A play area, studio, office or guest suite would be the perfect addition here.

A quick view of the deck shows off an oversized storage shed for your lawn and garden or outdoor entertaining items.

Our last view of the stately home showcases how spacious the deck is along with a covered outdoor seating area. Finally, a tall privacy fence encloses the entire yard.

Are you ready to view this house in person? Be sure to attend the open house, this Saturday and Sunday; or contact the listing agents, Bob & Lenchen Raeside for more information.
