How sweet is this home? I love how the cedar porch accents soft blue/gray exterior color and the little shrubs add such a cute touch. It just looks so inviting.
The refurbished hardwood floors are the main attraction when you walk in. What a beautiful update! I almost want to see a form of that blue/gray color on the walls. The outside of the home makes it almost seem like the house belongs on a beach so part of me wants to see that continue inside as well. The look could easily be achieved with the right accents and you wouldn’t even need to paint. I’m thinking a softer curtain color or if you’re feeling tropical, maybe a bold pattern in the curtain. The possibilities are endless!
A quick look into the kitchen nook shows a great room that could easily be updated with the right paint color and a good rug. More dramatic updates could include new flooring and painted cabinets along with updated appliances but, again, minor changes are always a great starting point to see if the room truly needs more than that.
Here’s a quick view of one of the bedrooms. I like this paint color and could see it working well throughout the rest of the home too!
This full basement has an extra bedroom and bathroom along with a room for the washer/dryer. In my opinion, the only thing this room needs is paint! I would soften it up by painting the ceiling white so it wasn’t the first thing you noticed and then I would use the same wall color found in the bedroom above. Just a couple of minor updates that I believe would transform the space because it already has so many great attributes.
A view of the backyard shows a good-sized garage and a little deck along with a large yard! What was your favorite part of this home? I loved that it was move-in ready with the opportunity to add a few updates.
